Acorn Hill Animal Hospital, a trusted small animal practice in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinary Medical Director to guide our practice, mentor our team, and shape the future of our hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine clinical excellence with veterinary leadership and management. You’ll work alongside a dedicated Practice Manager and Regional Operations Manager to set goals, develop strategies, and continue growing our hospital’s reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  
  
• Active Texas veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain).
  
  
• 5+ years of veterinary practice experience preferred.
  
  
• Proven leadership and management skills with emotional intelligence and professionalism.
  
  
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and clinical excellence.
  
  
• Ability to delegate effectively, communicate clearly, and inspire your team.
