About Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital

Founded in 1992, Greenock Farm Veterinary Hospital has grown from an equine surgical facility into a full-service hospital for animals large and small. Our hospital features:

  • State-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment, including digital radiography, a GE ultrasound, and advanced endoscopic tools.
  • Therapeutic services such as laser therapy, PRP, and stem cell therapy.
  • A supportive and collaborative team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Administering medications, vaccinations, and routine care.
  • Performing diagnostic tests, including bloodwork, radiography, and urinalysis.
  • Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.
  • Assisting with dental cleanings and educating clients on pet care and preventive health.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized hospital environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is required. Certification (RVT or equivalent) is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational abilities, and a passion for animal care.
  • Mindset: A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach and a willingness to learn.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in handling and restraining animals safely.
