We are currently looking to hire a full-time Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at Santa Cruz Animal Clinic in Brandon, Florida!

Established in 1971, our practice has built a strong reputation for compassionate care, personalized medicine, and meaningful client relationships. We believe every pet deserves exceptional veterinary care delivered with kindness, professionalism, and respect.

Who You Are:

• 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant required
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
• Confident in running rooms and seeing sick and well appointments alongside a veterinarian
• Skilled in phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
• Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation

Preferred, but not required:

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Florida
• Prior experience cross-trained as a CSR
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
• Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs
