Position Overview
We are currently looking to hire a full-time Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at Santa Cruz Animal Clinic in Brandon, Florida!
Location: 431 W Robertson St, Brandon, FL 33511

We believe every pet deserves exceptional veterinary care delivered with kindness, professionalism, and respect.
Who You Are:
- 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant required
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Confident in running rooms and seeing sick and well appointments alongside a veterinarian
- Skilled in phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
- Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation
Preferred, but not required:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in Florida
- Prior experience cross-trained as a CSR
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
- Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs
