About Our Clinic

Santa Cruz Animal Clinic is an established, welcoming 3-doctor small animal and exotic practice that’s excited to grow its team with the right veterinarian, regardless of experience level. Located in Brandon, Florida, the hospital has a long tradition of compassionate, high-quality care and a supportive culture where mentorship is available for those who want to strengthen their clinical skills. This opportunity is especially appealing for veterinarians with an interest in surgery, as surgical cases are a valued part of the caseload and the team is eager to support growth in that area. Whether you’re a new graduate ready to learn or an experienced doctor seeking a collaborative environment, Santa Cruz Animal Hospital offers a place to thrive while providing excellent care to both traditional small animal and exotic patients.

Clinic Snapshot

  • Practice type: Small animal GP. Some avian and exotics (doctor's preference)

  • Avg. daily patient volume: 15-25 appointments

  • Support staff ratio: 2-3 techs per doctor

  • Case mix: Wellness, surgery, dentistry,

  • Technology & equipment: Digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, dental suite

You are a veterinarian who is:

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)

  • Compassionate, client-centered approach to care

  • Strong communication and client-education skills

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus
