• Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time or Part-time
• Salary: $20–$25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays

Become a Grover! We are currently recruiting for a skilled veterinary assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician.

 

Aspen Grove Veterinary Care is a busy, rapidly growing small-animal veterinary practice in beautiful Fort Collins. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to our patients, from annual vaccines to more extensive treatments, including internal medicine, surgery, and urgent care. Some of our many on-site capabilities include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, cold therapy laser, CO2 surgical laser, ECG, defibrillator, cryopen, tonopen, critical-care oxygen kennels, and full-service in-house lab equipment.

What You’ll Provide

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
