Registered Veterinary Technician

 

Frisco Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our fast-paced practice. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care and client service.

 

Location: Frisco, CO

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries.

  • Providing nursing care and completing patient treatments.

  • Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the hospital and treatment areas.

  • Supporting the hospital team in all aspects of daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program (or equivalent) and eligibility for Colorado RVT certification/licensure.

  • Strong technical skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

  • Dependable attendance and commitment to patient care.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical & Work Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Must be able to walk, bend, stand, and reach throughout an 8+ hour shift.

  • Willingness to work long or irregular hours when needed.

  • Allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.

  • Visual, auditory, and verbal acuity sufficient to record accurate information, recognize patients and clients, and communicate effectively in person and by phone.

  • Compensation
    • Base hourly rate of $28.00 - $30.00 dependent on experience
    • Eligible for quarterly bonus
