Associate Veterinarian

Valley Animal Hospital – Geneva, IL

Valley Animal Hospital is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a new Associate Veterinarian to our team!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and team-oriented DVM who values high-quality medicine, strong client relationships, and a supportive work environment. Our hospital is busy, fast-paced, and genuinely collaborative, supported by an exceptional group of long-tenured technicians and staff who truly enjoy what they do.

Our Hospital & Equipment

  • Dedicated surgical suite with surgical laser
  • 6 full-service exam rooms
  • Updated technology, including:
    • Full-body digital radiology
    • K-Laser cold therapy unit
  • In-house IDEXX laboratory:
    • Chemistry and blood analyzers
    • Sedivue urinalysis
    • Microscopy
  • Comprehensive dental services with digital dental radiographs
  • Expansive in-house pharmacy plus online and compounding options for clients

What We’re Looking For

  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Active license in good standing in the state of Illinois
  • Commitment to high-quality, ethical veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in performing and expanding surgical skills, including:
    • Spays and neuters
    • Soft tissue procedures
    • Emergency surgeries (splenectomies, foreign bodies)
    • Orthopedic interest is a plus, but not required
