Job Description

Associate Veterinarian – East End Veterinary Medical Centre

Location: Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA
Schedule: ~40 hrs/week (max 45), no on-call, closed Sundays & most holidays
Open to: New grads or experienced veterinarians; doctors who prefer mostly appointments with minimal surgery are welcome.

We’ve expanded our facility with additional exam rooms, a comfort room, and a dual dental suite-and we continue to grow every year.

Services & Role

We provide wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery (including ortho for those interested), and ultrasound. We are cat and dog exclusive.


Your role can be tailored to your strengths:

  • Primarily appointments if you prefer minimal surgery
  • Or a mix of appointments, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgery
  • Responsible, efficient, and team-oriented doctors thrive here

You will help improve access for current clients while supporting continued practice growth.


Who We’re Looking For

  • A dependable doctor (new grad or experienced) who communicates well, enjoys team collaboration, and values balanced, ethical veterinary care
  • Someone comfortable with dogs and cats and motivated to provide high-quality medicine
  • Interest in dentistry, diagnostics, or surgery is a plus but not required
