Bellevue Animal Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to help shape the future of our practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. As an AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal hospital, we have proudly served pets and their families with compassionate, comprehensive care for years. Our hospital offers a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, therapeutic laser treatment, boarding, grooming, and more.

As Medical Director, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both patient care and hospital growth while partnering with a collaborative team that is passionate about veterinary medicine.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff
  • Promote medical excellence and high-quality patient care
  • Partner with hospital leadership to support growth and operational success
  • Help establish and maintain medical protocols and best practices
  • Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture
  • Continue practicing medicine and building client relationships

What We're Looking For:

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Active Arkansas veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for mentorship and team development
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and patient care
  • Previous leadership experience is a plus but not required

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
