Veterinary Assistant 

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The Veterinary Assistant will support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing high-quality care to animals while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and clients.Ideal candidate is someone who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets and outstanding service to their owners. Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care, exams, and procedures
• Restrain and handle animals safely and compassionately
• Prepare exam rooms, surgical areas, and treatment areas
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples as directed
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinary supervision
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient information
• Clean and sanitize kennels, equipment, and hospital areas
• Assist with client communication, scheduling, and patient updates
• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
• Support daily hospital operations and maintain a positive team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and restrain animals safely
• Ability to work around animals, including exposure to cleaning products and medical environments
