Position Overview
Wilson Veterinary Hospital, a privately owned small animal hospital in Washington, Michigan, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to lead our established and highly sought-after surgical service. This is an exceptional opportunity for a surgeon with a passion for advanced soft tissue procedures and orthopedic surgery to step into an established service with an immediate caseload and strong community demand. You’ll have the autonomy to shape and grow the surgical service according to your clinical interests and expertise, while working alongside experienced emergency and general practice teams within a collaborative, multi-service hospital.
With a Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends (unless desired), advanced technology, and a highly skilled support staff, you'll have the resources and infrastructure already in place to focus on providing high-quality surgical care. This is a rare opportunity to take the lead on an established surgical service, build on an existing caseload, and practice with true clinical autonomy, while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance.
