Patty Lathan, VMD, MS, DACVIM, is a small animal internal medicine professor at Louisiana State University's Department of Clinical Sciences. After obtaining her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania, she went to Mississippi State University for her internship and Purdue University for her small animal internal medicine residency. Dr. Lathan specializes in endocrinology, focusing on diabetes mellitus, adrenal function testing, and glucocorticoid side effect reduction.
