Position Overview

Veterinary Technician (Credentialed or Experienced)
Hoboken, Bayonne, Jersey City Heights & Downtown Jersey City, NJ

Do you ever feel like your veterinary superpowers aren’t being fully appreciated? Like you could place a catheter blindfolded (not that you should), or run anesthesia smoother than your morning coffee machine—but no one notices? Time to join a team that gets it.

At Animal Infirmary of Hoboken, Bayonne Animal Hospital, Downtown Veterinary Associates, and Heights Veterinary Associates, we’re not just four hospitals—we’re one big, slightly chaotic, incredibly dedicated family. Between our freshly renovated Bayonne and Downtown locations (they’re looking real good these days) and our long-time practice manager who truly goes to bat for her people, this is the kind of workplace that feels like home—just with more fur and fewer dishes in the sink.

Our teams are full of long-timers who have grown right alongside the practice—some for over 20 years! We take pride in supporting each other, communicating like real humans, and celebrating wins big and small (sometimes with snacks, always with laughter).

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be the heartbeat of our hospital - advocating for patients, supporting doctors, and using every ounce of your technical skill. From radiology and anesthesia to dental care and laser therapy, you’ll be fully utilized and trusted to do what you do best.

Who You Are:

A CVT, LVT, RVT, or an experienced veterinary technician who knows their stuff.
Obsessed (in a healthy way) with patient care, client communication, and teamwork.
Adaptable, positive, and calm even when things get a little... let’s say “energetic.”
Ready to keep learning, growing, and maybe even teaching the next generation of techs.

Perks You’ll Love:

A consistent 4-day work week (we believe in work-life balance, not work-life blur).
Complimentary life insurance & short-term disability.
401K with generous company match (free money = yes, please).
Health, dental, and vision plans (with options that actually fit your needs).
Fertility and family-building benefits through Progyny.
Mental health support, physical therapy programs, and pet care discounts.
A culture that supports you, listens to you, and celebrates you.

If you’re ready to work somewhere that feels like family (but more organized, and less dysfunctional) come join our crew!

Bring your skills, your compassion, and your best “can-do” attitude, and we’ll bring the support, laughs, and lifelong friendships.

Apply today and let’s make great medicine happen—together!
