Mountain State Veterinary Services is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned small animal practice in beautiful Farmington, West Virginia. We are seeking a full-time veterinarian and welcome candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates. With a laid-back, small-town atmosphere, a highly accommodating team, and a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call responsibilities, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding veterinary career while still having plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work.

Mountain State Veterinary Services is a privately owned small animal practice focused on providing comprehensive, high-quality care in a friendly and personal environment. Our services include wellness care, vaccinations, laboratory diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, radiology, laser therapy, and more. We have a dedicated and talented support team and offer a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic tools, including new IDEXX in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and therapeutic laser.

We believe in supporting our veterinarians and meeting them where they are in their careers. Mentorship is available through shadowing, a gradual timeline for taking on additional responsibilities, and the ability to limit appointment types until a veterinarian feels comfortable. We are happy to welcome new graduates and provide the guidance they need to grow their skills and confidence. Experienced veterinarians will also have the autonomy and flexibility to practice to their interests, including the option to see pocket pets.
