IVECCS 2026 at a Glance

IVECCS 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 14 to 17, 2026, at the Savannah Convention Center in Georgia. 

The conference is hosted by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS). IVECCS is a RACE-approved event that brings together emergency and critical care veterinarians, technicians, practice managers, and students for four days of education, hands-on sessions, and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the veterinary field.

Vet and Tech will be participating in IVECCS 2026 as an exhibitor at Booth 731 in the exhibit hall. GerVetUSA will also be exhibiting at Booth 726, with both teams present throughout the IVECCS. 

What to Expect at IVECCS 2026

IVECCS has long served as a premier gathering for emergency and critical care in veterinary medicine. The 2026 edition continues that focus with updated tracks in fluid therapy, anesthesia and analgesia, technician and nursing skills, practice leadership, and large animal emergency care.

CE Hours at IVECCS 2026

The IVECCS 2026 program is RACE-approved. 

• 37 live CE hours for in-person participants
• 24 live CE hours for virtual attendees
• 80 CE hours available on-demand through October 18, 2026

IVECCS 2026: Exhibit Hall and Booth Information

Exhibit Hall Hours:

• Tuesday, September 15, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET
• Wednesday, September 16, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM ET
• Thursday, September 17, 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM ET

The exhibit hall also hosts CPR Battles, sponsored by ETHOS, with live rounds throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Passport to Prizes activity, which rewards attendees who visit participating booths with a chance to win one of 20 prizes.

FAQs

How many CE credits can I earn at IVECCS 2026?

In-person attendees can earn up to 37 live CE hours, and virtual attendees up to 24 live CE hours. An additional 80 CE hours are available on demand through October 18, 2026. The program is RACE-approved.

Do I need to be a VECCS member to register for IVECCS?

No. You do not need to be a VECCS member to attend IVECCS 2026. Non-members can register for the symposium and also have the option to join VECCS during registration to access the discounted member rate. 

How is CE recorded at IVECCS?

CE is recorded by scanning the QR code on your badge at each session, and certificates are issued in the weeks following the conference. For virtual attendees, CE is based on online attendance, while on-demand CE requires completing and passing a quiz.

Where and when is the IVECCS 2026 Keynote Lecture?

The IVECCS 2026 Keynote Lecture, by Dr. Betsy Grunch, will take place in Chatham B on Tuesday, September 15, from 4:45 PM to 6:00 PM ET.
