Variety, Autonomy, Stability. A Career That Rewards Your Expertise.

Are you an experienced veterinarian ready for a role that challenges you, keeps your skills sharp, and rewards your expertise without sacrificing balance or predictability?

We’re seeking a Multi-Site Veterinarian to rotate between four well-established, NVA-supported small animal hospitals in the Wichita area. You’ll see a wide range of cases, collaborate with multiple teams, and have meaningful influence over patient care while enjoying predictable scheduling, excellent compensation, and the support of a larger veterinary network that genuinely cares about its teams and the pets they serve.

Hospitals You’ll Support

Prairie Ridge Animal Hospital
Pet Haven Veterinary Clinic
Heartland Animal Hospital
Countryside Pet Clinic and Resort

Backed by NVA: Resources, Support, and Flexibility

Our Wichita hospitals are part of the NVA network, giving you the stability of a larger organization while preserving the close-knit feel of local practices and the autonomy to practice medicine in the way you believe is best for your patients.

  • Strong local NVA network of nearby hospitals where leaders collaborate, share resources, and support one another
  • Access to Pet One Training Center for ongoing professional growth and continuing education
  • Competitive base salary plus production with no negative accrual
  • Sign-on bonus that can be used toward a home down payment, student loans, or settling into your new role
  • No non-compete clause, giving you freedom and flexibility in your long-term career
  • Paid short-term disability insurance, providing income protection for situations such as acute illness, maternity or paternity leave, or other unexpected medical events
  • Professional liability insurance fully covered
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, CE allowance, and paid licensing and professional dues
  • Generous PTO and true work-life balance, so when your day ends, you can fully step away and enjoy your life outside the clinic
  • Relocation support, including moving expenses and travel, to make your transition smooth and stress-free
  • Practice buy-in opportunity (JV Partnership) for veterinarians interested in future ownership or leadership

What You’ll Practice

Preventative and wellness medicine
Sick visits and urgent care
Dentistry and dental radiography
Soft tissue surgery
Diagnostics, imaging, and in-house lab work
Long-term case management and client education

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy variety, value autonomy in your medical decisions, and like the energy that comes from working with different teams who share the same goal of delivering excellent care to pets and the people who love them!

Why Wichita?

Wichita offers a strong veterinary community, a lower cost of living than most metro areas, and short, easy commutes. It’s a place where you can grow your career, put down roots, and still have the time and space to enjoy life outside of work.
