Registered Veterinary Technician

• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience as a Veterinary Technician (RVT/ CVT/ LVT preferred but not required). Applicants with strong ICU experience will be considered.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficient in calculating drug dosages and administering IV medications and fluids
• Check for pulse deficits
• Recognize if an EKG is abnormal
• Experience with feeding tubes
• Skilled in venipuncture & IV catheter placement/ phlebotomy
• Ability to use a doppler, chest tube maintenance, jug catheter maintenance
• Bladder expression
• Strong patient monitoring and nursing care abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Our Annapolis location shares a 28,000 sq. ft. building with other veterinary practices: internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, rehabilitation, radiation oncology, and a 24-hour emergency clinic.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated technician with strong clinical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
