Elizabeth Stark

Elizabeth Stark is a licensed veterinary technician, educator, and learning and development leader dedicated to advancing the veterinary profession through thoughtful leadership, education, and systems that support sustainable careers. She began her career in general practice before transitioning into veterinary technician academia, where she developed a passion for teaching, mentorship, and professional development.

Elizabeth is actively involved in the veterinary industry, including several industry organizations. She is a strong advocate for the advancement and appropriate utilization of credentialed veterinary technicians, as well as for title protection at both the state and national levels. Her work focuses on supporting veterinary teams, strengthening leadership pathways, and addressing burnout through better communication, structure, and education.

Beth is the co-founder and owner of VetRaft Solutions, a learning and development consultancy designed to support veterinary hospitals and organizations with customized onboarding, training programs, and operational resources.
She is the co-author of Leadership and Business for Veterinary Professionals, now available, which provides practical tools and insights to support leadership development across the veterinary field.

Outside of her professional work, Elizabeth is a wife and mother to two energetic young daughters and shares her home with her two cats.  She enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, and art—and is deeply committed to lifelong learning, both personally and professionally.
