This webinar will focus on the use and potential benefits of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) in dogs and cats. Based on current evidence from the literature and on the author’s experience, the various indications for this treatment modality will be reviewed. In addition, the selection of fecal donors and the various techniques for the in-hospital preparation of fecal slurry and the administration of FMT will be discussed so that participants can utilize the method in their hospital.
